Weight Loss Diet
The quickest way to lose weight is to increase the number of meals one consumes in the day. Does this sound like a joke? Well, it would be a joke if one were told to increase fat-filled-oil-rich meals. No! When a dietician suggests increase the meals, he or she means increase the number of healthy meals. These have to be small and more of raw vegetables and fruits.
So to speak, an ideal weight loss diet would comprise of five-to-six mini-meals, rather than three large meals that almost everyone is habituated to. Given here is an ideal diet plan for everyone - whether on a weight loss mission or not...
First thing in the morning:
1.) Lemon juice in lukewarm water and a pinch of salt.
2.) A cup of herbal tea with two-to-four Marie biscuits or cream cracker biscuits.
3.) Toast (brown bread) with margarine or diet jam
4.) A glass of fruit juice
Brunch (Between breakfast and lunch):
1.) A bowl of fruits
2.) Coconut water
Lunch:
1.) A portion of vegetables
2.) Roti or brown bread or a bowl of brown rice
3.) A bowl of lentils or pulses
4.) A bowl of salad
5.) A glass of buttermilk
High-Tea:
1.) A cup of herbal tea
2.) A handful or two of dry fruits
Between high-tea and dinner:
1.) A dry roasted snack or bowl of sprout salad
2.) A bowl of vegetable soup
Dinner:
1.) A portion of vegetables
2.) Roti or brown bread or a bowl of brown rice
3.) A bowl of lentils or pulses
4.) A bowl of salad
Before retiring to bed: A fruit
